Huntsville
Photos
March 1, 2014
Jason, Jo, and I
took a little time over the weekend to go out on a little photo
expedition to a few of Huntsville's notable places.
The obvious
first stop was the Space and Rocket Center which gives Huntsville
it's nickname "Rocket City". The Space camp dormitory, the
shuttle, and the Davidson Center, gave us several things to shoot.
Then is was over
the mountain to the North Alabama Railroad Museum. Locomotives, rail
cars, and just about all things "train" gave us many
opportunities to wander off on our own just snapping pictures.
There
were also a couple of other photo shoots going on at the time we were
there.
This little girl was patient !
Later back at the motorhome we had a nice home cooked dinner and spent a little time looking over and editing our pics. A great retirement day !
Baggage Carts
The last stop
was at the Huntsville War Memorial where we could walk around,
reflect on the sacrifices of our fallen warriors, and remember
friends and family members who gave their lives on battlefields, past and
present.
