Club
Today we went
a little nuts, became real tourists, and fantasized about being
residents of South Fork and part of the Ewing family of oil barons.
We walked the
grounds, walked up the famous tree lined drive, and explored the
house where the Ewings live.
We visited the party barn, stopped by
Elana's cottage, walked through the area where the Ewing Barbeque was
held,
looked in on the Ewing horses, stepped into the gazebo where
John Ross and Pamela were wed,
and sat by the pool at the table where
JR often had his morning coffee, while reading the Dallas newspaper
and planning his unscrupulous deeds of the day.
We walked
through Miss Ellie's kitchen, sat by the fireplace in the Ewing
living room where Jock and Miss Ellie liked to relax,
peeked into
Lucy's bedroom,
walked by JR's bed (that was a little scary) and
walked into Sue Ellen's bath. (also a little scary).
We even saw
the crime scene left when someone (Kristin) shot JR.
Such an
adventure we had today.
And the best
part was returning to our little home on wheels for a real life
relaxing evening of our own. Jo made Mexican meatloaf....umm good !
